Did you know that in 2023, over 20,000 City Nature Challenge observations were made in San Diego County alone? This is a huge contribution to science for our region!

Nearly 2,500 species were observed by over 1,000 people, and we had just as many people help to identify these species!

Thanks to all of those who helped us achieve this great feat! We look forward to making even more observations this year with new participants who are excited to learn and explore our county's biodiversity!
